The mission of Ancient Ocean Beef Co. is to conserve and restore the tallgrass prairie by producing regenerative, grass-fed beef from the Flint Hills of Kansas, once at the bottom of an ancient sea. Kelly Yarbrough is an artist whose work calls out the vitality of grasslands and prairie places. Her mixed media drawings are an invitation to become more land literate, and to celebrate the often overlooked landscapes in our own locales.
Together, we believe that art, ranching, stewardship, food, and community all places play a part in protecting the world’s last remaining tallgrass prairie.
